Carmelo Hayes pulled off an Eddie Guerrero-like trick to con the referee in the latest episode of SmackDown during his bout with Braun Strowman. In the video surfaced on social media, Hayes struck the steel chair on the ground and made it look to the referee like Strowman had hit him with the same.

Guerrero, the late wrestler, was widely known for pulling off the trick to help him win his matches in the WWE. Hayes, meanwhile, hit the ground with the chair before tossing the same to Strowman and falling to the ground as the referee was distracted. Nevertheless, the referee turned his attention to the match just in time and saw Strowman holding the chair. Despite the towering wrestler protesting that he didn't use it, the referee disqualified him.
Below is the video of the same:
Carmelo Hayes and Braun Strowman not part of Elimination Chamber match card
Sadly, both Hayes and Strowman are not part of the upcoming pay-per-view of the Elimination Chamber. The biggest match of the event is arguably the Men's Elimination Chamber match between CM Punk, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, John Cena and Seth Rollins as they will compete to qualify for the Wrestlemania bout for the World Championship
As far as the women's category goes, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Roxanne Perez and Naomi will square off inside the chamber. The unsanctioned match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will also be one to keep a close eye on.
