Team India's young pace sensation Harshit Rana and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia were seen talking about Virat Kohli as the latter hosted the cricketer for a casual chat. Allahbadia remembered shaking hands with Kohli once, claiming 'Unka haath patthar ki tarah hai.'

Kohli, 36, has arguably established himself as one of the best batters of the generation across formats. Although the former Indian captain has retired from the T20I and Test format, he amassed over 5000 runs in those two forms combined. He also has over 14000 runs in ODIs and his tally of 51 tons in the format is the highest.

Speaking about the moment, Allahbadia asked Rana:

"Inka haath kaisa hai?" (How is is hand?)

The right-arm pacer responded:

"Sar pe hai, abhi toh accha hai." (It is on my head, so it's good)

The YouTuber asked next:

"Kya mehsoos hota hai? Divya Shakti nikalti hai ya aag?" ( How does it feel like? Some divine power or fire?

Rana responded:

"Ek strong feeling hoti hai inke saath hamesha." (There's always a strong feeling,)

Allahbadia then responded:

"Meri life ki ek best moment hai jab maine inke saath ek cool handshake par audience ko yeh kehna chahunga, unka haath patthar ki tarah hai." (One of my life's best moments was having a cool handshake with him. But I want to tell people that his hand is like a stone.)

Virat Kohli likely to next play for India in October 2025

Meanwhile, the prolific right-handed batter is next likely to play for India only in October 2025 when the Men in Blue visit Australia for three ODIs and five T20Is. The tour of Australia begins with the ODIs on October 19.

Although India will take part in the Asia Cup, the tournament will be played in the T20 format and it begins on September 10.
