The 1st Rajya Ajinkyapadh Nivad Chachni Spardha, currently underway at Balewadi, Pune from 14th to 18th June, witnessed another electrifying day of Kabaddi action.
In the men's category, Palghar began the day with a commanding win over Jalna, finishing 49-38. Nashik Shahar continued their fine form, overpowering Hingoli 38-18 in the second match. Mumbai Upnagar East put up a dominant show as they defeated Sindhudurg 50-23. The fourth match turned out to be a nail-biter as Pune City and Pimpri Chinchwad played out an intense thriller that ended in a 47-47 draw.
The women’s matches followed, starting with an exceptional performance from Palghar Pink, who crushed Dhule with a score of 50-17. Latur and Hingoli went head-to-head in a close contest, with Latur narrowly clinching a 51-49 victory. The final match of the day saw Jalna District showcase a strong all-round performance to defeat Pune City 34-19.
The tournament continues to build excitement, with both men’s and women’s teams battling hard for top honors in this prestigious state-level Kabaddi championship.
