The Under 18 Boys & Girls Intra District Basketball Championship, held on 2nd and 3rd August 2025 at Ghatkopar, witnessed electrifying matches filled with fierce competition, team spirit, and standout performances.
In the opening game, Swish A dominated the court against Dominic, securing a comfortable 18-7 win. Following that, M Park edged past B YMCA in a nail-biting finish with a narrow 14-13 victory, showcasing their composure under pressure. 360 LC delivered a commanding performance against RLY PB, finishing the match 21-9 in their favor. On the other hand, GKP steamrolled past N.P.S with a massive 36-2 win, setting a high benchmark for the rest of the tournament.
In another highlight, M Park continued their winning streak by defeating Swish with a strong scoreline of 25-18, asserting their dominance in the league. However, Pronets pulled off an impressive win against the in-form 360 LC, ending the match 28-21.
To close the round of matches, Chembur outclassed Maniac with a confident 29-12 victory, wrapping up a thrilling day of youth basketball action. The championship not only displayed raw talent and energy but also emphasized the growing passion for basketball among young athletes across the district.
