A Pakistani fan’s emotional rant has taken social media by storm following Pakistan’s crushing six-wicket defeat to India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Frustrated by the repeated losses against their arch-rivals, the fan pleaded with the ICC to place India and Pakistan in separate groups for future tournaments, calling the defeats an “annual embarrassment.”

In a viral video, the fan, identified as Siddique, expressed his frustration, saying, "Another Salana Bezati" “Dear ICC, I have a request for you. Please place Pakistan and India in separate groups for ICC events. Watching this yearly humiliation has driven us insane.”

He went a step further, sarcastically suggesting that if the ICC insists on keeping the two teams together to boost revenue, then a portion of the profits should be given to Pakistani fans to cover hospital bills for stress treatment.

He said, "If that's not possible, could you at least give Pakistan fans a share of the profits from these high-profile matches? So that we can take care of our own treatment"

Will Pakistan qualify for the semi-finals despite defeat to India?

India continued their dominance over Pakistan with a commanding six-wicket victory at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan, after choosing to bat first, set a modest target of 241 runs, which India chased down with ease in just 42.3 overs. Virat Kohli sealed the win in style, hitting the winning runs and sending Indian fans into celebration.

Though Pakistan is not officially out of the tournament, their semi-final hopes are hanging by a thread. With a poor net run rate of -1.087, their chances now depend on India and Bangladesh defeating New Zealand in the remaining group-stage matches.
