To mark the first anniversary of the historic win in Barbados, Rohit Sharma took to Instagram with an emotional video montage that captured the journey from preparation to victory. The clip included behind-the-scenes glimpses from the dressing room, roaring celebrations from fans across the world, and Rohit’s own reflections on the pride of leading India to the title.

Hardik Pandya, who played a vital role in sealing the victory. Pandya posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, recalling the emotional high of that day. In the final, he was tasked with defending 16 runs in the last over a challenge he embraced with steely resolve.

In the video, Hardik stated: “I always visualized myself bowling the final over or hitting the winning runs in a World Cup. That moment in Barbados made all the struggles of the previous months worth it. I could finally say—I did it for my country.”
