Mumbai, April 2: Pradnesh Lad’s solid half-century knock of 50 runs (37 balls, 5x4, 2x6) powered Greater Mumbai Police ‘B’ to a convincing six-wicket win against Cipla Sports Club in a first-round match of the RCF T20 Cricket Tournament 2026 for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Trophy, played at the RCF ground, Chembur.
Greater Mumbai Police ‘B’ dominate with all-round performance
Choosing to bat first, Cipla SC were dismissed for 109 runs in 16 overs. Visharad Pagare scored 26 runs, while Mumbai Police bowlers Kushagra Gupta (3 for 11) and Shubham Dhakne (3 for 20) picked up key wickets.
Pradnesh Lad leads successful chase
Later, Greater Mumbai Police easily surpassed the winning target, scoring 110 for 4 wickets in 16 overs. Lad’s innings steered the team to victory.

In another match, DMCC defeated Mafatlal SC by a commanding six wickets.
