Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid has suffered a leg injury but will still be joining the team ahead of IPL 2025. Dravid, who recently hurt his left leg while playing club cricket with his son Anvay in Karnataka, was seen wearing a cast.

The Rajasthan Royals provided an update on social media, sharing a picture of Dravid with a cast on his left leg. Despite the injury, the former India player and coach remains committed to his role and will be present at RR’s training camp in Jaipur. Dravid, who is returning to RR after 10 years, previously played a crucial role as captain and mentor.

Rajasthan Royals aim for second IPL title under Dravid

With a solid squad and his leadership, the team will aim to win their second IPL title in 2025.  The Royals had made it to the top four last year and it was the SunRisers, who ended their campaign in the play-off fixture, beating them by 37 runs.

RR will begin their IPL 2025 preparations in Jaipur before heading to Hyderabad for their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23. Although they won’t play in Jaipur until April 13, the city remains their home base for training.
