NBA star James Harden never fails to entertain the fans both on and off the court. In a video going viral on social media, the 35-year-old Los Angeles Clippers star made an unexpected appearance at the Fanatics Fest in New York city.

Wearing a yellow feather boa, a red bandana, and the WWE theme song "Real American," Harden embraced the spotlight like a professional wrestler as he entered the event dressed as Hulk Hogan. It was a light-hearted moment that reminded everyone of Harden’s big personality, offering a glimpse at the showman behind the step-back threes and crossovers.

James Harden eyes NBA Championship

During a Q&A session, one fan in the crowd shouted, “Win a championship!” Harden, responded with a calm but confident, “I will, I’m trying,” drawing laughs and applause from the crowd.

Entering his 16th NBA season, Harden is still chasing the one accolade that has eluded him: an NBA championship. Last season with the Clippers, he averaged 22.8 points, 8.7 assists, and 5.8 rebounds, earning both All-Star and All-NBA Third Team honors. While the Clippers had a solid 50-win season, their early playoff exit a first-round loss to the Denver Nuggets left a familiar bitter aftertaste.

Harden struggled in the decisive Game 7, scoring just seven points on 2-of-8 shooting, rekindling criticism of his postseason performances. Still, he remains committed to his championship pursuit and possibly to the Clippers.

James Harden LA Clippers future in doubt

Reports suggest he may decline his $36.35 million player option to negotiate a multi-year deal to stay in Los Angeles. With Kawhi Leonard already secured and players like Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac thriving in their roles, Clippers GM Trent Redden may opt to run it back with the current core.

The team came close to advancing further in the playoffs and believes with better health and continuity, they can contend. Despite questions about his shooting efficiency (41.0 FG%) and turnovers (4.3 per game), Harden’s veteran presence and playmaking abilities still bring value.
