Renowned English Premier League Club Manchester United is reportedly closing in on a deal to secure the services of Brazillian footballer Matheus Cunha. According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement on the closing deal is expected soon as manager Reuben Amorim is massively interested in signing the Wolverhampton Wanderers forward.
Amorim is reportedly a massive fan of the 25-year-old and is keen on signing Cunha. The report of the Peoplesperson also claims that there is a consensus among Manchester United's executive branch that the youngster will be a perfect fit in Amorim's 3-4 2-1 system, especially given Cunha's impressive outing for Molineux, which has the same setup.
Manchester United had a forgettable outing in the 2024-25 Premier League season as they played 37 matches but won only 10 and crashed to an eye-watering 18 defeats.
