Mumbai: The Maharashtra girls kept their wits about them to score a goal in injury time and hold West Bengal to a 1-1 draw to advance into the quarters of the Jr Girls National Football Championship at Odisha.Maharashtra went into the last league encounter needing just a draw to advance into the last four.

West Bengal managed to hold on to the ball more but could not create too many goal-scoring opportunities. The score remained level at half time. West Bengal managed to score in the 89th minute.
