Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir hilariously suggested that all-rounder Hardik Pandya needs plenty of rich hospitality during his appearance at the Kapil Sharma show. With comedian Kapil Sharma asking Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal and Abhishek Sharma as to which cricketer demands a lot of hospitality, Archana Puran Singh took Pandya's name and the coach also chipped in with a quip.

In what was a special episode of the comedy reality show, the show-stoppers of the Indian cricket team were invited as they engaged in plenty of fun-filled questions. Kapil Sharma, the host of the show, asked the cricketers.

"Damaad-type attitude kiska hai? Jo bada demanding nahin hota, ainvayi akda rehta hai." (Who displays the son-in-law type attitude? Needing privilege for no apparent reason)

Archana responded to it and said as her answer drew massive laughs from the crowd.

"I'm guessing Hardik Pandya."

Gambhir chipped in with his own answer, stating:

"Khaatirdaari bhi waise hee chahiye damaad waali." (He also needs a treatment like a son-in-law)

Hardik Pandya to likely return to action for Team India during Asia Cup 2025

Meanwhile, Pandya is likely to next don the India colours only in September when Team India partakes in the Asia Cup. The tournament, involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong is likely to be hosted by the UAE.

However, the official dates are yet to be announced. India are also the defending champions, having won the 50-over edition in 2023. However, the upcoming tournament will be a 20-over format to help teams prepare for the T20 World Cup next year.
