Ex-UFC Star Conor McGregor is back in the limelight after knocking down two people during his time at Ibiza nightclub. In the video captured by The Sun and shared online by fans sees the Irish fighter talking to a man on the club’s dancefloor before putting his arm around his shoulders.

The conversation between the two lasted for less than ten seconds as McGregor punched the man next to his friend with his left hand while holding a glass of booze in his right hand. While the first punch failed to land properly, the second was a clean one leaving the person flat on the floor.

According to the report by The Sun, a person who was present in the nightclub during the incident revealed that the man punched by McGregor was thrown out, while the Irish fighter kept drinking.

He said, “Clearly something’s been said to annoy him and he’s reacted very badly. The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away. There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away and I didn’t see him again.”

Back in 2019, McGregor had his first scuffle outside of the cage when he was filmed sucker-punching an elderly man in a Dublin pub for refusing a drink of his Proper Twelve whiskey. Four years later (2022), he was accused of assaulting a woman on an Ibiza yacht. However, the legal outcomes of that case remain unclear.

Will McGregor return to fight?

McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg in a 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier, and his planned comeback against Michael Chandler has been repeatedly delayed. UFC CEO Dana White recently stated McGregor won’t return until late 2025 at the earliest, citing unclear reasons for the extended hiatus.
