Adding even more heat to the rivalry, a video went viral on social media were IIT Baba also known as Abhay Singh and famous from Maha Kumbh has made a bold prediction that Pakistan will come out on top.

He has even challenged top Indian players, including Virat Kohli, insisting that his prediction is rock-solid and causing concern among Indian fans. As he put it about the upcoming match:

“Main tumko pehle se bol raha hu, is baar India nahi jeetegi. Jo Jo hain, Virat Kohli…sabko bol do ki aaj jitke dikhaye. Ab maine mana kar diya hai ke nahi jeetegi to nahi jeetegi, ab kya bhagwan bade ho ya tum bade ho.”

Who is IIT Baba?
Abhay Singh, now known as IITian Baba, captured widespread attention online after his interview at Mahakumbh 2025 went viral. Born in Haryana, he began teaching at a coaching centre to earn money while pursuing his passion for photography, and later, he chose the life of a monk.

Meanwhile, India started their Champions Trophy campaign with a win against Bangladesh, whereas Pakistan lost their first match against New Zealand in the opening fixture.

With Pakistan playing this match as a virtual knockout where another loss could mean elimination from the tournament the stakes have never been higher.
