IPL Enters The Hundred: How Much Stake Do Indian Owners Hold In The Teams? Check Details

Four IPL franchise owners will gain operational control of teams participating in The Hundred by October 1, which will unlock millions not only for the England Cricket Board but also for cricket growth.

The IPL team owners are set to control The Hundred franchises after signing a strategic deal with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). RPSG Group (LSG), Sun TV Network Limited (SRH), and GMR group (DC) have all entered the league. As per multiple reports, the ECB further stated that two more partners, including Reliance Group for a stake in the Oval Invincibles, are set for formal completion at a later date.

How much stake do IPL team owners have in The Hundred?

According to The Times Of India report, RPSG Group secured 70% of Manchester Originals, Sun TV Network Limited purchased 100% of Northern Superchargers, GMR Group acquired 49% of Southern Brave. MI owners Reliance Group will sign a deal later this year to accquire 49% of Oval Invincibles

The ECB said an amount exceeding 500 million pounds will be shared between professional counties and the grassroots game when all the deals are complete.
