Indian and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli, 36, showcased his fitness level in the IPL 2025 game against the Punjab Kings at the Mullanpur Stadium on Sunday. With Mullanpur experiening above 30 degrees in the afternoon game, Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal ran four runs early in the innings as a video of the same surfaced on social media.

The incident came in the third over of the innings bowled by left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh as Padikkal nudged the ball to deep mid-wicket with pristine timing. Although the fielder at the deep ran and pulled the ball away from going to the boundary, he couldn't throw the ball to the keeper in time. As a result, the two batters completed four runs by running.
