Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has field a case against transportation giant Uber Moto before the Delhi High Court alleging them over disrespectful YouTube advertisement involving SunRisers Hyderabad opener Travis Head. The ad in question is the one titled 'Baddies in Bengaluru ft. Travis Head' and has accumulated 1.3 million views at present.

Advocate Shwetasree Majumder, who is fighting the case for RCB, accused that Uber Moto has formulated the ad that sees Head's character in the video disparaging RCB's trademark. Moreover, Majumdar pointed out that Head is seen running towards the Chinnaswamy Stadium to vandalize the signage of “Bengaluru v. Hyderabad” and instead takes a spray paint and writes “Royally Challenged”.

Additionally, Majumdar argued that Uber Moto, a commercial sponsor of the SunRisers team used RCB's trademark as well. Meanwhile, Uber's Counsel remarked that Head is not calling RCB 'baddies' but is reminding he will give a headache to the other side as the phrase 'royally challenged' makes it clear.

Justice Saurabh Banerjee gave the below statement and said, as quoted by Live Law:

"This is open to interpretation. I am being open, the moment you ask a person, a layman or a Court to see the ad and decipher. I can form or have an opinion which is different than yours. There lies the issue of injunction. I am reserving order. I will pass the order and will dispose of the application."

Travis Head hammered a century the last time he played an IPL match in Bengaluru

Meanwhile, Head had blasted a 41-ball 102 the last time he played an IPL fixture at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru as the SunRisers blasted 287 in their backyard. However, the hosts gave their all to chase down the total but the Orange Army eventually won by 25 runs.

As far as IPL 2025 goes, the Aussie left-hander has accumulated 214 runs in six games at 35.66.
