With only a few hours to go for the IPL 2025 final between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), fans of the former franchise were seen rolling out a bizarre car in Bengaluru. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the white car was covered with lemon and green chillis to prevent any bad omen from striking.

The Royal Challengers arguably have an enormous fan base and one can expect a massive crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday for the tournament-decider. With RCB reaching the final for the fourth time and losing on the previous three occasions, the fans are inevitably nervous and want to see Rajat Patidar and co. break their title jinx.

"You have to run after the trend" - Former Indian cricketer predicts winner of IPL 2025 final

Retired Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has heavily predicted for the Royal Challengers to win the title, claiming that luck is heavily favouring them. Ashwin said on his YouTube channel 'Aish ki baat'.

"I can't help but feel that RCB has this in the bag. Look at what has happened. Look at their momentum and tempo, I am a complete cricket buff. But I cannot help but look at science, as cricketers, you also get superstitious. You have to run after the trend. If you look at what has happened, every team that has gone against has eventually turned into a favour for them."

"First, people were saying RCB's momentum was broken because of the 20-day break. They lost against SunRisers Hyderabad. Look at how they bounced back in the LSG game. Jitesh Sharma scoring those runs was a massive momentum shift. Hazlewood was waiting. RCB were bleeding runs when he was sitting out. I kind of feel the tide of luck is running with RCB."
