KKR bounce back in style against Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals batting first posted a modest total of 151/9 in their allotted 20 overs against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Varun Chakravarthy and Moeen Ali derailed the batting line-up of Rajasthan Royals. Dhruv Jurel top-scored for the Rajasthan Royals with 33 runs off 28 balls, leaving the Kolkata Knight Riders a target of 152 to chase.

In response to RR's total of 151, Kolkata Knight Riders' batting unit, led by Quinton de Kock's 97, produced a brilliant chase to overhaul RR's total. Quinton de Kock's innings was studded with powerful hits and innovative strokes, leaving the RR bowlers searching for answers. This win marked KKR's first in IPL 2025, following a defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore in their season opener. For Rajasthan Royals, this was their second consecutive loss after a heavy defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high-scoring encounter. KKR's next challenge comes on Monday against the Mumbai Indians, while Rajasthan Royals will face Chennai Super Kings.
