Punjab Kings' co-owner Preity Zinta's gloomy expression went viral as her team were left in the mire by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 in Mullanpur. The Bollywood actress, who was present in the stands, wore a sad expression as Punjab Kings' batting line-up struggled by playing some rash shots.

Punjab Kings' co-owner Preity Zinta's gloomy expression went viral as her team were left in the mire by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 in Mullanpur. The Bollywood actress, who was present in the stands, wore a sad expression as Punjab Kings' batting line-up struggled by playing some rash shots.

The moment came in the fourth over over of the innings as comeback man Josh Hazlewood drew a nick from Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer, who went for an ugly hoick over the on-side. But all he managed was a nick through to the keeper and Jitesh Sharma took a simple catch. Hazlewood also managed to dismiss Josh Inglis, while Yash Dayal got the better of Priyansh Arya and Nehal Wadhera.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed Prabhsimran Singh, while Suyash Sharma also shared the spoils, castling Marcus Stoinis and Shashank Singh. Romario Shepherd struck in his first over too to dismiss Harpreet Brar, Hazlewood finished the innings off as Azmatullah Omarzai was dismissed for 18 as PBKS managed only 101 in the board.

RCB win toss in Mullanpur and opt to chase:

The toss in Mullanpur went the returning Rajat Patidar's way and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Qualifier 1 against the Punjab Kings. Both sides made one change to the their playing XI, with RCB bringing in Josh Hazlewood for Nuwan Thushara. Tim David still remains on the sidelines due to the hamstring injury.

Punjab Kings had to make a forced change, drafting in Azmatullah Omarazi for Marco Jansen, while Yuzvendra Chahal is still nursing a finger injury.
