Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) spinner Digvesh Rathi performed the notebook celebration yet again despite being fined 25% during the previous IPL 2025 game against the Punjab Kings. The leg-spinner brought out the celebration against Mumbai Indians' batter Naman Dhir on Friday after castling the right-handed batter as a video of the same surfaced on social media.

The dismissal came in the ninth over of the innings as Rishabh Pant brought on Rathi to bowl his second over. With Naman Dhir going quite strong, having especially taken Akash Deep to the cleaners, he was cleaned up by a pearler from the Delhi-born cricketer. The dismissal triggered the notebook celebration from Rathi, who could be fined again.

Below is the video of the dismissal:

Earlier, Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya had won a crucial toss at the Ekana Stadium against the Lucknow Super Giants and opted to bowl first. The big news from the Mumbai Indians camp is Rohit Sharma not playing the clash, while Akash Deep comes in for Manimaran Siddharth for the home side.
