Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) treasurer and IPL chairman Arun Dhumal was seen gesturing the spectators to leave the Dharamsala stadium amid the escalating situation between India and Pakistan. With Pakistan shooting drones near Jammu Airport and many other nearby regions, blackouts triggered and there was a floodlight failure at the venue.

Only 10.1 overs were possible during the game in Dharamsala as a floodlight failure occurred and only one of them was functioning at the venue. After a prolonged wait, the officials decided to call off the contest, with the spectators and officials quickly evacuating the stadium.
