Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Andre Russell candidly answered what he does for a living after winning the Player of the Match award for starring in a one-run victory over the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at the Eden Gardens. When asked what he does for a living, the Jamaican said he hits sixes for the same.
The veteran West Indian cricketer finally hit form in the fixture against the Rajasthan Royals, blasting an unbeaten 57 off 25 deliveries to propel the Knight Riders to 206 in 20 overs. Although Russell didn't take a wicket, the defending champions prevailed by one run in a thrilling encounter, thereby keeping their playoff hopes alive.
