In a thrilling moment from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, SRH's Abhinav Manohar took a spectacular catch to dismiss RR's Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The dismissal occurred in the 2nd over of the RR innings, with Yashasvi Jaiswal looking to take on the SRH bowling attack. Simarjeet Singh, the SRH bowler, delivered a short-pitched delivery that Jaiswal attempted to square cut. However, the ball flew quickly towards the point region, where Abhinav Manohar was positioned.

Manohar, showcasing his exceptional athleticism, leapt into the air, stretching his body to the maximum. He managed to get both hands to the ball, holding onto it despite the momentum of his jump carrying him backwards. The SRH dugout erupted in joy as Manohar's brilliance sent Jaiswal back to the pavilion for just 1 run.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are on top against Rajasthan Royals

Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket was a significant blow to RR, who were looking to build a strong partnership. The dismissal slowed down RR's scoring rate, allowing SRH to regain control of the game. SRH's bowlers, led by Simarjeet Singh and Mohammed Shami, continued to apply pressure on the RR batting lineup.

The spectacular catch by Manohar has given SRH a significant boost in momentum. The team will look to capitalize on this advantage, pushing for more wickets and restricting RR's scoring. With SRH having posted a formidable total of 286/6, the pressure is firmly on RR to produce something special.

Currently, RR are 77/3 at the end of 6 overs with Dhruv Jurel and Sanju Samson in the middle.
