The highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set for February 23 in Dubai, adding another intense chapter to one of cricket’s greatest rivalries. Due to political tensions, bilateral series between the two nations have been absent since 2012-13, making their encounters in ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup even more special.

As excitement builds for the upcoming showdown, Netflix is set to release a documentary titled The Greatest Rivalry – India vs Pakistan on February 7. A recently shared trailer features former India captain Sourav Ganguly reminiscing about the 1996 Friendship Cup, a five-match series between the two teams in Canada.

Ganguly humorously remarked, "It was a Friendship tour only in name, but when Shoaib Akhtar is bowling at 150 km/h, where is the friendship in that?" Responding to Ganguly’s comment, former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar reacted on social media, though his full response remains undisclosed.
