Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir was spotted sharing light moments with the support staff and even learning throwdowns from Raghu, Daya & Co during an indoor net session ahead of India vs England 4th Test. On Tuesday, rain stopped the outside practice session, forcing England and India to opt for indoor nets. While the indoor matting does not replicate the natural feel of the pitch, players managed to have a light session ahead of the crucial clash.

While Indian players had an indoor practice session, B Sai Sudharsan was also seen practising on the covers laid out in the middle of the pitch. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the left-handed batter was seen shadow batting all alone at the ground.
How will the weather play on Day 1?
According to Accuweather, the weather will be cloudy in the morning with a cloud cover of 94% but the chances of precipitation will only be 19%. The chances of showers increase to 65% in the afternoon, while the conditions will remain overcast. Although the chances of rain is expected to come down to 48% in the evening, there will be heavy cloud cover. The team winning the toss may want to bowl first to take advantage of the cloudy conditions at Old Trafford.

Team India is looking to save the series
The Manchester Test is going to be a must-win match for Team India, as England is leading the race by 2-1. In the previous match, at Lord's cricket ground, the away team suffered a narrow defeat against the host. To decide the winner, the remaining two matches have become more crucial than ever.
India has already lost two games in the series, making their position more difficult. During the matches at Leeds and Lord's, Gautam Gambhir's coached side faced batting collapses. If they made the same mistakes at Manchester, then they can say goodbye to the series.
