Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana will make their ODI debut for India in the India vs England 1st ODI in Nagpur. Jaiswal was handed the debut cap by skipper Rohit SHarma., while Rana received his maiden cap from fellow pacer Mohammad Shami.
Rana had recently made his T20I debut against England as concussion substitute. Team India went onto beat England 4-1 in the five match series, Jaiswal will be coming into the match after incredible series in Australia but failed to make runs in the Ranji Match against against Jammu and Kashmir.
Yashasvi Jaiswal's inclusion in India's ODI series against England offers him a great opportunity to establish himself in the international arena. His recent performances in Test cricket have also been outstanding, including a century and two fifties in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he was the highest run-scorer for India.
Meanwhile, Harshit Rana, who made his Test debut last year in Australia, made his T20I debut as a concussion substitute in a T20I against England earlier in January. With their ODI debuts, Yashasvi and Harshit have become the latest in the line of India's all-format cricketers

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma confirmed that Virat Kohli will be sitting out of the first ODI in Nagpur due to a knee injury. Rohit confirmed the news during the toss on Thursday, February 6. The captain further stated that Kohli suffered the problem last night. Virat Kohli was closing in on 14,000 runs in ODI cricket, but the star batter has to wait longer to get to the milestone.
