New Zealand has announced their 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to be held in Pakistan and UAE starting February 19. The same team will also compete in a tri-series with Pakistan and South Africa before the main tournament.

Mitchell Santner, who named as the full-time captain will lead New Zealand in his first major ICC event. Due to security concerns, India will not travel to Pakistan, so New Zealand will play their match against India in Dubai.

The squad features pacers Will O’Rourke and Nathan Smith, who have been in good form recently. This will be their first senior ICC tournament. Adam Milne, another fast bowler, has also been included after serving as a traveling reserve in the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

Santner will serve as the primary spinner, supported by all-rounders Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips, and Rachin Ravindra. Veteran players Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, and Santner bring experience, having played in the Champions Trophy before. Latham will handle wicket keeping duties.

The pace attack will be led by Matt Henry and the seasoned Lockie Ferguson, who is set to appear in his fifth ICC event, having contributed significantly in previous ICC ODI and T20 World Cups.

New Zealand Squad: Mitchell Santner (c), Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Will O’Rourke, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Ben Sears, Nathan Smith, Kane Williamson, Will Young.

New Zealand's Group Stage Fixtures:

19 February - Pakistan vs New Zealand, Karachi
