Triple H and a host of WWE SmackDown wrestlers and fans remembered the Immortal Hulk Hogan with a 10-bell salute. Hogan passed away due to cardiac arrest. The sudden demise had sent a shockwave throughout the world as the current and former WWE wrestlers paid their respects to the Hall Of Famer.
The WWE presented a ‘beautiful’ tribute to Hulk Hogan at the SmackDown in Cleveland on Friday. Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque narrated a video that went through Hogan's career, covered his top moments in the ring, WrestleMania performances, and more.
Earlier, following his sudden demise, WWE released a statement stating, "WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s,".
Hulk Hogan's wife Sky Daily Hogan breaks silence
Hulk Hogan's wife Sky Daily Hogan, posted an emotional note following his sudden demise on July 23. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer and world champion, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea died at the age of 71.
Daily Hogan took to Instagram on Friday and wrote, "I wasn't ready for this… and my heart is in pieces."
She continued, "He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time."
"This loss is sudden and impossible to process," she continued. "To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart."
The couple married in September 2023. At the time, Hogan shared a video from their nuptials on Instagram, captioning it, "My new life starts now!"
