Veteran Hollywood actor Vin Diesel greeted Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson right after coming to the stage during the Golden Globe awards ceremony of 2025. In a video surfaced on social media, Diesel said 'Hey Dwayne' as the seasoned World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star smiled in response but it seemed to fade away quickly. Nevertheless, a few netizens predicted that the seeds for Wrestlemania 41 are already planted.

Diesel and Johnson had allegedly been at odds as it reportedly occurred in 2017 during the filming of Fate of The Furious. The former WWE champion had shared a cryptic post on Facebook that year, blasting his male co-stars; however, he did not mention Diesel's name in the same. He had written:

"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s— to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es."

However, during an interview with USA Today, Diesel busted any myth about any feud between them and stressed that they are quite close.

"I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne."

Here's how the netizens reacted to the video:

Meanwhile, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson made his first Wrestlemania appearance in 1997 and has fought on 11 occasions at the grandest stage of them all, winning six matches. The 52-year-old has beaten The Sultan, Ken Shamrock, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, John Cena and Erick Rowan.

Nevertheless, he lost to Austin, HHH, Cena and The Evolution have defeated them at Wrestlemania.
