Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked rumours of secretly marrying Georgina Rodriguez with his latest social media post, especially with his lengthy and heartfelt caption. The 39-year-old, who also plays for Al-Nassr currently, posted a birthday message for Rodriguez on her 31st birthday, describing her as his 'wife' among many other things.
In a post on his official handle on Instagram, Ronaldo wrote before a heart emoji by posting an adorable picture of themselves:
"For the mother, partner, friend, my wife… happy birthday, love. Your light illuminates us, and your love infects us."
During an interview with The Telegraph, Rodriguez had strongly considered the idea of marrying Ronaldo. She stated:
"I have always had this idea of being a happy woman with my husband and my children, and this is what I have. Wonderful children, a man who loves me, who cares for me. I love him, I care for him, I adore him, I admire him, he is a very good person, and I am happy to share my life with him."
Notably, Ronaldo and Rodriguez have two children together but might have also now married officially.
