Former Indian cricket stalwarts MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir were spotted having a conversation at a recent wedding event. Photos of the event surfaced on social media as Dhoni and Gambhir were seen having a friendly conversation, with the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma and Suniel Shetty also making an appearance. However, the location of the wedding is not known yet.
A host of pictures were shared by House of Events' handle on Instagram as it was the wedding event of Dhvani Kanungo and Utkarsh Sanghvi. Nevertheless, it turned into a reunion of the cricketing fraternity. Apart from Suniel Shetty, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon was also present from the world of Bollywood. Among the cricketers, Parthiv Patel and Irfan Pathan marked their presence.

The seemingly friendly conversation between Gambhir and Dhoni sparked quite a buzz on social media as the two have reportedly in loggerheads. The latter has spoken on quite a few occasions about how the keeper-batter's winning six and his 91-run knock from the 2011 World Cup final against Sri Lanka is given more importance than his nerveless innings of 97 under pressure. Gambhir has stated that it was a team effort and that Dhoni alone doesn't deserve credit for India's landmark World Cup victory.

Meanwhile, Gambhir's next assignment as Team India's coach will be the Asia Cup in 2025, beginning on September 9. The former Indian opener's position as the Test coach was under scrutiny after a 3-0 series loss to New Zealand at home, followed by a 3-1 defeat Down Under.
Nevertheless, Gambhir might have salvaged some time for himself after pulling off a 2-2 draw during the England tour. He has had tremendous success in white-ball cricket, winning all the T20I series so far and helping India clinch the Champions Trophy.
