In the third T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand, Haris Rauf left everyone in shock with a breathtaking catch of Finn Allen. The incident happened in the 5th ball of Shaheen Afridi's first over. Afridi bowled full and swung down the leg side which Allen clipped aerially towards short fine.
It looked like the ball almost went past Rauf, but he flew to his right with an outstretched hand and the ball got stuck in his hand. Rauf was parallel to the ground as he latched on and used his body to keep the ball under control. The catch is a reminder to the catches taken by Glenn Philips during the recent Champions Trophy tournament.
Pakistan look to save series against New Zealand
POakistan skipper Salman Agha won the toss and elected to field first in the third T20I will series at stake. The five-match series is heating up, with the Men in Green facing a tough challenge after losing the first two matches. The third match at Eden Park in Auckland, could potentially decide the series if New Zealand claims another victory.
So far, New Zealand has been dominant, easily chasing down Pakistan's modest target of 92 in the first match and securing a five-wicket win in the second match while chasing 136.
Pakistan, however, has struggled with both bat and ball, failing to put up a strong challenge. With their pride on the line, the Agha Salman-led team will aim to bounce back and register victory in the ongoing match. On the other hand, New Zealand will look to keep their momentum going and seal the series.
