After Manchester City suffered heartbreak for failing to make it to Champions League semi-finals, a video has emerged on social media which shows City allegedly testing crowd noise on their speakers at their home ground Etihad Stadium. City bagged a 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in second quarter-final leg with an aggregate of 4-4, but Spur was given a semi-final berth on away goals.

Now with the bad news of loss, an embarrassing news have arrived for the team with the video which reveals that the team was planning to create an atmosphere using speakers during their clash against Spur. Have a look at the video below.

City has been facing poor crowd attendance at their home matches in recent time. The crowd support has been a reason for worry for the team and it looks like the authorities took this way to motivate players during matches.

It was a dramatic finish in the Champions League clash between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the quater-finals. Although City won the match 4-3 (aggregate 4-4), Totenham Hotspur won the semi-final berth on away goals. Spurs, who won the first leg 1-0, will now play Ajax Amsterdam for the final’s berth, which will be against either Liverpool or Barcelona.
