Team India batter Shubman Gill let out his frustration after an unsuccessful attempt of cover drive on day one of the second Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval. The right-handed batter screamed 'F*** off' as the fielder intercepted the ball to prevent any run. A video of the same emerged on social media.

The incident occurred in the 14th over of the innings sent down by Scott Boland as Gill came forward to a full-length ball and laced a drive. However, Nathan Lyon got around to it on time and prevented any run.

Shubman Gill scores a promising 31 before Scott Boland dismisses him:
Meanwhile, the Punjab-born cricketer made an impressive 31, lacing some impressive drives, including stitching a 50-run stand with KL Rahul. However, he became one of the three wickets to fall before dinner to slip from 69-1 to 82-4 heading to dinner.
Australia eventually bowled India out for 180 as Mitchell Starc snared six wickets. The left-arm delivered an impressive start for the hosts as he dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal on the first ball of the innings. The New South Wales speedster went on to get rid of KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Harshit Rana, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Reddy emerged as the top scorer for the tourists on day one, much like Perth in the opening day, scoring 42 off 54 deliveries. The tourists eventually finished with 180.
