India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was seen running back to the hotel room due to forgetting something behind before getting inside the bus. A video of the same surfaced on Instagram as he ran back to the hotel before returning quickly to get back into the team bus, with India seemingly heading to Birmingham for the 2nd Test against England.

Reddy, who had an outstanding series in Australia, couldn't find a place in the eleven for the first Test against England, with India preferring to go with Shardul Thakur for a fourth pace-bowling option. However, the seam-bowling all-rounder could feature in the XI for the Edgbaston Test, considering the tourists must level the series, so as to avoid falling further behind.

Meanwhile, below is the video of Nitish Kumar Reddy's forgetfulness:

Jasprit Bumrah set to be rested for second Test against England

Meanwhile, ace fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is all set to be rested for the second Test against England in Birmingham, set to commence on July 2 due to workload management, according to reports.

The 31-year-old's workload had been considerably heavy during Team India's five-wicket defeat at the Headingley in Leeds. He sent down 24.4 overs in the first innings, followed by 20 in the second, notably going wicketless in the latter. Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep are the two other spare bowlers in the squad but the tourists will find themselves under pressure without Bumrah, who is a bona fide wicket-taker.

The tourists need to win the second Test as a 0-2 deficit will be extremely difficult to turn around.
