Team India and England will resume their rivalry for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in the second Test at the Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 2, Wednesday. With showers a norm in England and playing some part in the opening Test in Leeds, fans will be keen to know about the weather conditions for day 1 in Birmingham.

According to Accuweather, the cloud cover in the morning will remain upto 93% but the probability of precipitation will only be 10%, with the weather being mostly cloudy. The cloud cover will drastically come down in the afternoon with only 26% of them, with the showers expectation also reducing to 1%. The conditions are expected to be entirely clear in the evening. Hence, fans will likely get to see a full day's play on day one in Birmingham.

The cloud cover in the earlier part of the day can mean that the team winning the toss opts to bowl first to exploit the conditions.
