A well-drilled East Bengal Football Club will take on the Indian Air Force Football Team at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan on Sunday as it is all set to mark the final Group A match. East Bengal Football Club are the firm contenders to win the 134th edition of the Durand Cup and will target their 3rd straight win of the competition.

East Bengal began their campaign with a commanding or comprehensive 5-0 victory over South United FC and edged out Namdhari FC by a scoreline of 1-0 in a hard-fought contest. With East Bengal staying at the top of Group A, they are in pole position to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Durand Cup.

East Bengal FC's opposition IAF FT have unfortunately been knocked out of contention for a playoff berth as they have secured only one point from two matches. Bottom-placed South United FC also have one point in their kitty and it came from the draw against Indian Air Force FT. East Bengal FC will be looking to pounce on IAF FT's weakness and maintain their unbeaten run leading into the business-end of the tournament.
