Team India's veteran batter Karun Nair went on to declare himself as the best footballer in the current Indian team. With the visiting side spending some time with the Manchester United players ahead of the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford, Nair hilariously said there is no footballer better than him in the current Indian side.
With a significant gap for both sides ahead of the Old Trafford Test, India seized the opportunity to meet up with Manchester United's football stars. Both players played cricket and football against one another and shared some fun times to go with.

"I don't think there's any better than me at the moment."
Karun Nair dropped from playing XI for fourth Test in Old Trafford
Meanwhile, Nair has been axed from the playing eleven from the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. The 33-year-old made a comeback to the Test side for the first time in seven years but hasn't been able to take full toll of the opportunity handed by the selectors. In three Tests across six innings, he has managed only a best of 40.
Speaking on Jio Star before the start of the play on day 1, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar reflected on Nair's tweet of 'Cricket, give me another chance' in 2022 and stated:
"It was an emotional story where he said, 'Cricket, give me another chance'. Cricket gave him another chance. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to catch it. And, you know, we have Sai Sudarshan coming back. So that was the story. Good to see Sai Sudarshan back, because I thought he should have played the second test as well."
Having won the toss for the fourth consecutive time in the series, England captain Ben Stokes sent the tourists into bat. England got the wicket in the form of KL Rahul, dismissed for 46 by Chris Woakes.
