Badminton tourney from March 19

Mumbai: Badminton 45 and Bombay Gymkhana will be jointly organising the 22nd G D Birla Memorial Masters Inter-Club Badminton Tournament, sponsored by Birla Sunlife Insurance, from March 19 to March 23, 2014 at the Bombay Gymkhana. The tournament is open to players above the age of 35 and the events to be held will be the Masters Inter-Club Tournament and the Masters Open Events.

The Masters Open events will see competition in Men’s singles 45+; Men’s doubles 45 +; Combination* Doubles 80 +; Combination* Doubles 100+; Professional Singles; Professional Doubles (No age limit). The tournament is open to clubs affiliated to respective districts of the Maharashtra Badminton Association.

Entry forms are available at the sports offices of the respective clubs or can be sourced by emailing info@evolutionsport.in. Entries 1 should be sent to “Sports Adm. Bombay Gymkhana” up to 5.00 p.m. on March 12, 2014.
