RCB's Jitesh Sharma has poked fun at former team Punjab Kings ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Appearing on The Ranveer Show podcast, Jitesh dilvulged that RCB will try and win the trophy to replicate the success of IPL 2025. When pointed that only Punjab, Lucknow and Delhi were without an IPL title, Jitesh did not hesitate and said, "Bachi rahengi"
RCB had not lifted the title before ending their drought last season. Jitesh played a stellar role in the campaign, even captaining the side in the absence of Rajat Patidar. His performances earned him a recall to the Indian side, but later had to make way for Ishan Kishan.
