Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old cricket sensation,made his way into the history books after a cracking century against Gujrat Titans on Monday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Not only did Vaibhav become the youngest centurion in IPL history and in men's T20I cricket but also the second fastest after former cricketer Chris Gayle. Vaibhav's century came of just 35-ball, the fastest-ever by an Indian in the history of the IPL

The cricketing world was forced to take notice of this youngster and social media wad flooded with congratulatory messages following his record-breaking innings

List of records broken by Vaibhav Suryavanshi during knock against GT

Suryavanshi became the youngest (14 years and 32 days old) ever to score a century in T20 cricket and IPL, beating the earlier record held by Vijay Zol.

He smashed his half-century in just 17 balls, the fastest in IPL 2025, the second fastest for RR, and the fastest ever for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans.

Suryavanshi smashed 11 sixes, equalling Murali Vijay’s record for most sixes by an Indian in an IPL match. It is also the most sixes achieved by an RR batter in an IPL inning.

His 35-ball hundred is now the second-fastest century in IPL history, only behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball ton for RCB in 2013. It's also the fastest 100 for RR.

He was part of a 166-run partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, the highest ever for Rajasthan Royals.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi played 38% false shots at the time of reaching his 50. Among the 96 50+ scores this season, only Ryan Rickelton had made more errors at the time of reaching his 50 - 44.1% against KKR at Wankhede.
