The last stop in what has been pulsating Test series between Australia and India is the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) as the final game starts on January 3. With Australia in pole position to regain the Border-Gavaskar for the first time in a decade and India under the pump, it's interesting to know how the weather will hold up in Sydney.

According to Accuweather, Cloud cover is expected to be well over 70% on day one in both morning and afternoon, signalling tricky batting conditions; however, rain is likely to stay away. Day two is expected to be almost clear but cloud cover is still likely to be present for the most part. Meanwhile, the morning of day three is anticipated to be mostly cloudy, while the conditions will improve in the afternoon as it will be partly sunny. It is likely to be partly sunny even in the evening but the cloud cover is expected to be at 53%.

The probability of precipitation is quite less on day four but cloud cover will keep increasing, making it a bowler's paradise. Nevertheless, day five is when proceedings are expected to be washed out completely should it reach there. There are 25% chances of precipitation in the morning, followed by 87 in the afternoon and 25 again in the evening.
