Gill, renowned for his graceful stroke play and calm temperament, is one of the brightest talents in world cricket. Shirt is unwashed and match worn—a rare collector’s item from a memorable day at the Home of Cricket."

What is Red for Ruth?

One day of every summer of the Lord's Test is dedicated to ex-England skipper Andrew Strauss' foundation Red for Ruth, with public, players and broadcasters wearing red. It was started in memory of Strauss' late wife, who tragically died of cancer.

Shubman Gill finished the Test series as the highest run-getter

In what was his debut series as captain, Gill emerged as the highest run-getter, peeling off 754 runs with three centuries alongside a best of 269 scored at Edgbaston. The 25-year-old also grew as a captain as the tourists managed to hold England to a 2-2 draw despite a young side.

Nevertheless, Gill also got involved in an on-field altercation with Zak Crawley during the Lord's Test when he let out some expletive-laden words, accusing the England opener of wasting time.
