Venkatesh Maha, who is popular for films like Modern Love Hyderabad and C/o Kancharapalem, has invited a huge controversy through his remark over the character 'Rocky', played by actor Yash in KGF: Chapter 2.
In an interview with other filmmakers Nandini Reddy, Indraganti Mohana Krishna, Shiva Nirvana and Vivek Athreya, Venkatesh Maha mocked Pashant Neel’s KGF 2. Not just this, he also called the character of Rocky ‘Nee*ch Ka*ine Ku**e."
While talking about the film, he looked annoyed and said that the scene where the protagonist’s mother asks him to get all the gold from the people and become rich while giving them nothing is quite absurd.
Netizens demand apology
While some people appreciated the director-turned-actor for expressing his opinion, several other users on social media have threatened to ban his films from Karnataka if he didn’t apologise to Yash for his controversial statement.
