A Reddit user took to the social media platform on Tuesday to rant that Moshi and Chakan are the worst places to live in Pune, citing bad roads and excessive dust as the main reasons.
He wrote, 'Moshi/Chakan are the worst places to live in Pune… IMO. Mostly, people only live here because either they are working in MIDC or they're from a proper gaavwala background. The roads are sh*t, dust everywhere, ughh... it's terrible to live here. We are not really in Pune, but somehow, we are... everything is so fu*king far... there’s nothing to do here."
Netizens had mixed reactions to the post.
"I ride a bicycle on Nashik Road sometimes. I dread when I have to pass through that area. Any time of the day, but it’s far worse in the evenings," a user commented.
"I travel frequently to Narayangaon from Pune. I try leaving early so that I don’t have to spend time in this patch. The return journey is beyond control, but I still try passing this patch either before 4 or after 9pm," another user shared.
'Dude… are you kidding me? The roads there are good and spacious... sounds like you’ve never lived in other parts of Pune. Try that sometime, you’ll hate the traffic and pollution. You’ll beg to go back to Moshi," a third user said.
"Looks like not many people know about PMRDA. It’s like NCR. Someone from Chakan saying they are from Pune is the same as someone from Greater Noida saying they are from Delhi," a fourth user stated.
