While Pune awaits the monsoon with pre-monsoon showers already set in, the skies in the city are enchanting Punekars. With every passing day, Instagram and X are flooded with beautiful sunsets in Pune, many of them captioned "Pune skies never disappoint."

With skies painted in orange and red hues, Punekars found themselves capturing the pictures and posting them on social media.

However, one might wonder why the skies look so picture-perfect ahead of the monsoon. Well, there are some reasons behind it. Read on.

Here's Why They Look More Beautiful Than Ever!

During the monsoon season, the sky can appear orange or reddish due to atmospheric conditions like dust, aerosols, and humidity.

As the monsoon draws near, several factors contribute to the stunning sunsets. The high humidity and dust particles scatter sunlight, enhancing the reds and oranges during sunrise and sunset.

Pre-monsoon cloud formations add texture and depth to the sky, creating vibrant patterns. The lower angle of the sun increases scattering, allowing warm hues to dominate.

Additionally, occasional showers clear out pollutants, giving the sky a cleaner, more vibrant backdrop. These elements combined make Pune's skies particularly mesmerizing this time of year.
