How to calculate the fares?
Once you open the website, you can see two options - Cab Fare and Auto Fare. You have to select your mode of transport. Then enter the distance of your trip (in kilometres). Your fare will be displayed. Upon checking the fare breakdown, you can see the charges.
For example, for a journey of 20 kilometres by a cab (AC journey), the fare is Rs 500. The breakdown shows Rs 37 base fare (1.5 kilometres), extra distance - 18.5 kilometres (Rs 25 per kilometre).
For a journey of 20 kilometres by an auto-rickshaw (waiting time 5 minutes), the fare is Rs 349 to Rs 365. The breakdown shows Rs 25 base fare (1.5 kilometres), extra distance - 18.5 kilometres (Rs 17 per kilometre), and waiting charge Rs 9.
