With traffic congestion at its peak in Pune, many Punekars are often seen breaking traffic rules, putting their own lives and those of others at risk on the roads. In a recent incident, a van driver of Bishop's Co-Ed School was caught wrong-side driving on video by an X (formerly Twitter) user who shared it on the platform. Netizens reacted to the video and sarcastically commented that this was "normal in Pune".

The X user shared the video and wrote, "Didn't expect a driver of a reputed school like Bishop, Pune, driving the wrong side with kids being onboard!" The user tagged the official X handle of the Pune City Traffic Police and added, "You are completely responsible if any incidents occur, as you are the ones who promote wrong-side driving." He said the incident took place on Airport Road, near Symbiosis College, and even shared the van's licence plate number.

Later, the Pune City Traffic Police responded to the X user's complaint and issued an e-challan against the vehicle. The user wrote, "Sir/Madam, unless you get on the ground and take serious action against school cabs/buses, your challan won't guarantee the safety of students!"

Meanwhile, netizens reacted to the video and asked the school authorities to take action against the driver. "Dangerous. Hope school authorities also take action here," a user said. "There are plenty of such examples. Not only school vehicle drivers (driving the wrong way, jumping signal, talking on mobile while driving), the parents also do the same," commented another user. "It's normal in Pune nowadays...," stated a third user.
