A shocking incident has come to light from Pune where a 14-year-old girl was brutally beaten until she fell unconscious, allegedly by her boyfriend, also 14 years old, officials said on Monday. The incident took place near Pulgate Bazaar in the Camp area on February 13, they added.
According to the police, the victim's female friend saw the accused smoking a cigarette outside their school. She advised the victim not to interact with him, saying he was not a good person. The victim then confronted the accused about this, and the duo had an argument.

"On February 13, after school, the victim, who resides in Hadapsar, was waiting for her bus at the Pulgate bus stop with her friends when the accused came. He asked her why she had spoken negatively about him and then started assaulting her. His bracelet hit the back of her ear, causing her to lose consciousness. Her friends took her home, but she did not initially inform her mother about the incident," Pradeep Pawar, Police Inspector (Crime) of Lashkar Police Station, said.
"The next day, on February 14, after school, the accused again confronted her at the same bus stop, verbally abused her, and threatened her. Disturbed by the repeated harassment, she finally informed her mother, who then reported the matter to the police," he added.
Regarding the matter, a case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station under Section 118 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
